The Supreme National Defense University (SNDU) opened the first Armed Forces War Room at the National Defense University (NDU) of Kazakhstan.

The War Room of the Islamic Republic of Iran was officially opened on June 15, 2022, in the presence of the delegation from the I.R. of Iran to Noor Sultan, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by Brigadier Dr. Khosro Bolhassani,  the SNDU vice-chancellor, and Captain Ali Fekri, Iranian Military Attaché in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstani high-ranking  military officials including  Brigadier Lut Alchenov, chancellor of Kazakhstan NDU, Zhumabek Akhmetov, head of Education and Military Science Department of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry, Colonel Taigog Sung, South Korea's military Attaché, represented by the Association of Military Attachés in Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that the proposal for building this complex was submitted by the Kazakh National Defense University to the Iranian delegation in December 2017, during the visit of the military delegation of the "Supreme National Defense University" of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kazakhstan which was agreed by the Chief of the Staff of the Armed Forces.
