Honorary doctorate awarded to two martyrs, IRGC-QF’s commander General Qassem Suleimani, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis

On Wednesday, January 4, 2023, the international meeting of the Martyr Soleimani School was held in the Islamic Summit Hall with the presence of the families of the martyrs, during which Honorary doctorate were awarded to the families of the martyrs General Qassem Suleimani, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

The president of the Supreme National Defense University stated in this regard:

"The Supreme National Defense University is the highest scientific reference in the field of strategic sciences in the I.R of Iran, and based on the student recruitment and admission policies of University, it has been tried to select students from among the military and national elites".

He clarified: "Among the prominent students and lasting faces of this university were Lt. Gen. Shahid Suleimani, an incoming doctoral student in strategic management in 2005, as well as Jamal Jafar Al-Ebrahim, known as Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, an incoming doctoral student in strategic management in 2019.

Dr. Ahmadi Moghadam added: “Sardar Soleimani, after passing the theoretical course according to the country's needs at the macro and national level and based on the orders of the leadership and the commander-in-chief, did not find the opportunity to continue his studies to enter and complete his dissertation and his research and followed his military mission. Therefore, based on the approvals of the University Education Council, the educational conditions were reserved for him so that after completing his mission, he could complete his studies at the doctoral level, but this opportunity was not provided and he was martyred. Brigadier General Ahmadi Moghadam continued: S.N.D.U Honorary doctorate degrees were given to two martyrs General Qassem Suleimani, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis who achieved the highest degrees in jihad and martyrdom is very small and insignificant.

He also added: Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis had the same situation. Therefore, these two honorable martyrs, who had got themselves strategic field school and owners in this field and their role in the country position and the international arena is evident, with the opinion of the Supreme National Defense University and with the approval of the Ministry of Science, an honorary doctorate in the field of strategic management has been awarded to these honorable martyrs. These degrees are insignificant compared to the sacrifice of the commanders; Because they have achieved the highest degrees in Jihad and martyrdom, but this action is the duty of the university and the Ministry of Science. Hope that academicians of the country and pioneers of resistance and protection of the Revolution’s values and Islam will put it on their top priority.
