The signing of an MOU between Supreme National Defense University and Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School

On Monday, January 30,2023, Brigadier General Dr. Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam, the President of Supreme National Defense University (SNDU), at the head of a delegation consisting of deputies and officials of this university, met with, Dr. Seyyed Hassan Vahdati Shobeiri, the principal of Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School. This meeting, which took place at the said school, continued with signing of an MOU between Supreme National Defense University and Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School.

The President of SNDU pointed out that the general theory of our government is Islamic, but in the executive field, we depend on imported and western sciences, and stated that this dependence has led to the creation of interference between the general theory of government and imported executive theories, which in the long run will lead to Disharmony in the society. He emphasized that the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran is seeking to establish an Islamic government in the Second Step of the Revolution said, “In this regard, one of the assigned missions by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to this university complex is to lay the foundation for the path of making modern Islamic civilization. There is no doubt that this mission will be realized with strong scientific communication and interaction between the university and Hawzah (the Islamic Seminary).

Dr. Ahmadi Moghaddam also pointed out that the main source of Islamic government is the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of God (PBUH), and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on jurisprudence, the Quran and the Sunnah. For this reason, in cooperation with Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School, we are looking for producing practical theories based on the principles of Islam in the executive field of governance, so that by utilizing them, we can reduce the amount of turmoil in the society.

In this meeting, Dr. Seyyed Hasan Vahdati Shobeiri, the principal of Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School, also said that the purpose of signing this MOU is to expand the relations and scientific research cooperation between the two parties. He added that further strengthening scientific and research communication and paying attention to the common interests of the parties is one of the main themes of this MOU. Achieving more understanding to advance the goals of the both sides and to reach the set goal will be one of our plans in the Jurisprudence School. The management of the society is realized with the unity between the Hawzah and the University, and today, by signing this MOU, we are witnessing a valuable product of the unity between the Hawzah and the University. Alem-e Al-e Muhammad (PBUH) Jurisprudence School has close relations and favorable scientific interaction with SNDU, which has obtained great achievements for the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We hope that this MOU will lead to the production and presentation of new executive methods in the governance of our country.
