Brigadier General Dr. Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam, the President of Supreme National Defense University (SNDU) participated in the closing ceremony of the empowerment course for the faculty members of SNDU, which was held in Mashhad. He congratulating the participants on the month of Rajab and pointed out the importance of the mission of SNDU and emphasized that in order to implement these capacities, we must focus on our own wills.

The president of the National Defense University said that graphs and statistics can show the past as unsuccessful and today as successful, and added that we can be content with as little as we do. As the Holy Qur'an says, there are some people who like to be praised for an act they have not done. While it is better to look for more work and ask God for the reward of this effort, and it is better to be in the trenches of war than in wellness. We do not consider the various wars waged by the enemy to be unexpected, and the further we go, the enemy will increase his material power and facilities. It means that we have progressed and the enemy can no longer stand against us with the strength of the past, and therefore we must make ourselves stronger every day, and this is good news that we have progressed, and the Supreme Leader also said, “If we draw the 44 years of the revolution as a curve, we can see that we are on the rise and the enemy is on the decline.”

The president of SNDU stated that civilization means authority, and that being at the top requires courage and determination. When the Supreme Leader announced the importance of Islamic civilization for this university in 1993, at first the issue seemed a little strange and had not been repeated before, and this perspective was depicted in a situation where the university was forming its central core. In order to build this civilization, we need to make our capabilities strong in various aspects, including the scientific capabilities of the country's managers, and by training strategic managers, we must reach the promised position and provide the pillars of this civilization, so that Islamic civilization will be determined as the reference in the world. By referring to the expectations from the School of Governance as an arm for the supreme Leader and a tool to achieve that great goal, he added, “We should try to fulfil the expectations of the Supreme Leader in the decisions and reform of the country's strategies and policies and the country's evaluation system in the training of strategic managers.
