An MOU has been signed between Supreme National Defense University (SNDU) and Higher Tarbiat Mojtahed Complex, Director of Mohammadieh

A 4-member delegation consisting of professors from Higher Tarbiat Mojtahed Complex, Director of Mohammadieh in Qum, headed by Hojjatul-Islam Mohammad Ismail Abdullahi, visited Supreme National Defense University and talked with the president of the university on July 25, 2023.

According to the International Relations and Communication Center of SNDU, A 4-member delegation consisting of professors from Higher Tarbiat Mojtahed Complex, Director of Mohammadieh in Qum, headed by Hojjatul-Islam Mohammad Ismail Abdullahi, visited Supreme National Defense University and talked with the president of this university on July 25, 2023.

In this meeting, which took place in the framework of the strategy of expanding scientific and research relations of the university at national and international levels, as well as expanding and deepening the relations between the Islamic Seminary and the university, first the necessary explanations regarding the structure, tasks, responsibilities and goals set for SNDU was presented, and in return, the head of the Mojtahid Higher Training Complex, the director of Mohammadiyeh Qom, introduced the structure and goals of the complex. Then they discussed and exchanged views on the educational, research and management issues at a strategic level, which the other party expressed hope that the signing of this MOU will provide the necessary ground for the development of Islamic Semnary and the university at the strategic level.

According to the head of the Higher Tarbiat Mojtahed Complex, Director of Mohammadieh in Qum, this complex was established in 2018 to train mujtahids for managerial positions in the country that require Ijtihad (such as the judiciary, the Guardian Council, etc.). This complex selects its members from students who have completed the 4th level of the Seminary and are close to Ijtihad and provides them with the necessary management training during a 5-year period.

At the end of this meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Supreme National Defense University and Higher Tarbiat Mojtahed Complex, Director of Mohammadieh in Qum in order to establish and develop the relationship between the Seminary and the university and to use the existing capacities of both sides in the fields of science, research, exchange of professors, etc.
