Press conference on the 4th National Exalted Governance Conference
According to the International Communication and Relations Center, Brigadier General Dr. Hassan Bakhtiari, the head of Shahid Beheshti School of Governance, at the press conference (Monday morning, July 17, 2023) on the Fourth Exalted Governance Conference stated that the main purpose of establishing this school is to help enhance the governance of the country; Therefore, in this regard, we carry out activities in two educational and research sectors. To generate new science and knowledge and identify the country's problems, as well as helping the government to implement solutions are among the activities that are followed in Shahid Beheshti School of Governance.
The head of Shahid Beheshti School of Governance added that the fourth conference will be held in line with the previous three conferences. Accordingly, we will address the issue of provincial or in a sense local governance. Based on this, we started the initial stages of this conference last year, during which we held conferences in 9 provinces in line with the five goals and five themes of the conference.
So far, 84 provincial meetings have been held in 100 universities attended by experts and 9,000 elites. 192 lectures have been presented. Also, in each province, articles have been sent at the provincial level, and the selected ones will present on the day of the conference.
Dr. Bakhtiari said that the foreign articles that will be presented as the best articles on the day of the conference are articles from China and Bangladesh, and said that 220 articles have been submitted to the conference secretariat, among which 183 have been accepted and 94 have been assessed so that out of which 30 articles will be presented on the day of the conference. Five articles are expected to be presented in the morning and 25 in the afternoon.
He pointed out that this conference will be opened with the speech of the Interior Minister and one of the vice-chairmen of the Islamic Consultative Assembly attended by the governors of the country and the mayors of the cities. In the end, Hojjat-ol Islam Khosrow Panah, the secretary of Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, addressed the audience as well.
