The president of Supreme National Defense University (SNDU) delivered a speech on the demise anniversary of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran

Brigadier General Dr. Ahmadi Moghadam, President of Supreme National Defense University delivered a speech on the special, noble and unique character of Late Imam Khomeini and the concessions of the Shiite government in the Islamic Republic of Iran to academicians, professors, students and staff of SNDU on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

By pointing out that after the rule of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (PBUH), the government got out of the right path, and even after that, it was handed over to the ones who apparently ruled in the disguise of religion, but the chain of divine guardianship was interrupted, and the world no longer witnessed the presence of the Islamic government. the President of SNDU stated that Imam Khomeini was able to establish a religious government for the first time by presenting the theory of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist (Velâyat-e Faqih). He said that although this theory was faced with many challenges as to whether a government is legitimate or not during the absence of Imam Mahdi (PBUH). And some opinions were based on the fact that the appearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) ) depends on the fact that the world must be filled with injustice and oppression, as in the tradition by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) "God will fill the world with justice and as the world has been filled with injustice and oppression" and the formation of a government prevents injustice and oppression, which was a wrong interpretation, and Imam Khomeini corrected this interpretation.

In another part of his speech, he pointed out that some believe that the reason for the absence of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is the lack of the due conditions and contexts so that the divine government is fulfilled. The biggest problem was the people’s turning away from the Commander of Believers, Imam Ali (PBUH) and Imam Mojtaba (PBUH), although, these two imams were present, the people turned away from the Imams. The government deviated from the right path; but Imam Khomeini could bring it back to the right path.

Referring to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in the anniversary of Imam Khomeini‘s passing away, the president of Supreme National Defense University said that every year, the Supreme Leader, in the anniversary of Imam Khomeini‘s passing away, mentions some of the qualities and characteristics of Imam Khomeini. This year, he also stated that Imam Khomeini was able to express a new definition of jurisprudence. He expressed that the Shiites never managed to form a government except for a short period during the Al-Buyeh and Zaidian eras, or during the Safavid era, some scholars were used to promote the religion. None of them have been a religious or divine government. Many people did not think that this government would be formed, but despite all the opposition and objections regarding Islamic banking, tax payment, foreign policy, defense and war, security, etc. Imam Khomeini was able to establish the government, and even took steps to prepare the ground for the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.

Dr. Ahmadi Moghadam continued that the Supreme Leader has declared many times whatever he does is based on Imam Khomeini’s view and approach, and whenever there was a disagreement, he referred to Imam Khomeini’s guidance.

At the end of his speech, he mentioned the launching of “Fattah Missile”, and called it a great honor for the country. He said, “Manufacturing this missile means reaching the level of knowledge and technology that the country has achieved and it confirms that the country has achieved this level in dozens of other fields, while the United States has repeatedly failed in manufacturing its supersonic missile. Consequently, the enemies are trying to turn this proud tool into a humble tool by announcing that instead of building missiles, it would be better to pay attention to people's well-fare as well as livelihood and make us ignore what we have.” While it is understood from the Holy Qur'an that the enemies disguise the truth with falsehood and hide the truth as well. The work of the front of the darkness and the enemies is to turn efficiencies into inefficiencies and make success look insignificant.
