Brigadier General Ismail Ahmadi Moghadam, President of the Supreme National Defense University, has traveled to that country at the invitation of the Iraqi Minister of Interior at the head of a high-ranking Haitian delegation.

Brigadier General Ismail Ahmadi Moghadam, the President of the Supreme National Defense University, accepted an invitation from the Iraqi Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari, to embark on a several-day trip to Iraq leading a high-level delegation. Yesterday, he held a meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Interior and other senior officials from the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, during which they discussed matters pertaining to bilateral cooperation in the areas of training and strategic research. They reached an agreement on a practical framework for such cooperation. Continuing their journey, the delegation from the Supreme National Defense University visited various departments within the Iraqi Ministry of Interior.
