Statement by the Supreme National Defense Universityon the Commemoration of the Martyrdom Anniversary of General Haj Qassem Soleimani

In accordance with the reports from the International Communication and Relations Center, the Supreme National Defense Universityhas released the following statement on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the esteemed and renowned commander of the Quds Force of Islam, General Hajj Qassem Soleimani:

It has been four years since the glorious martyrdom of the "Man of the Field," the distinguished and illustrious commander of the Quds Force of Islam, General Hajj Qassem Soleimani. Once again, the criminal America has revealed its true nature by shedding the pure blood of our beloved commander and his mujahid companions.

The honorable Martyr Soleimani, who referred to himself as a "soldier of the Supreme Leader," both in words and deeds, demonstrated his complete obedience to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Alongside our esteemed martyr, Hajj Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mehdi Al-Muhandis united the various sects and religions of Iraq through his coherent organizational efforts. Together, they stood against the sinister front of ISIS with a valuable military organization. Today, university institutions pay tribute to the enlightened school of Martyr Soleimani and follow the path and profession of this high-ranking martyr—a path that is luminous, laden with blessings, and leads only to happiness and a favorable outcome.

Martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani served as a model combatant and an exemplar for nations and mujahideen in the pursuit of religion and freedom. He extended the strategic depth of the Islamic Republic and the axis of resistance to the Mediterranean coast and the Bab al-Mandab strait. He dismantled the malevolent currents of the covert government of ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani, who exemplified modern-day heroism and excelled in this field, fought until his last breath to safeguard the honor and sovereignty of this border and land. By eradicating the cancerous tumor of ISIS, he bestowed security upon the people of the region.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, while commending his elevated status, cited his thwarting of America's illegitimate plans in West Asia as an example of the wisdom and courage possessed by this heavenly martyr. The martyrdom of Hajj Qassem Soleimani not only defeated the wicked enemies but also intensified the cold-heartedness and antipathy of criminals worldwide, prompting them to openly target the leader of hearts.

The adversaries of Islam and the Islamic Revolution should be aware that the blood of Martyr Soleimani has infused renewed vitality into the veins of the Islamic Revolution and has significantly bolstered the national unity and cohesion of the Iranian nation. He will become a legend and an emblem for the youth of the Islamic world in the history of today and tomorrow. Undoubtedly, the hand of God's retribution, with the assistance of the companions of the Promised Mahdi (May Allah Almighty hasten his reappearance) and his rightful deputy, will deal a severe blow to the perpetrators of this crime and will soon bring about the destruction of the infamous Zionist regime. This will create the necessary preparations and conditions for the emergence of the Awaited Saviour, by the grace of Allah Almighty, and his righteous companions.
