The Supreme National Defense University’s Statement Regarding Iran's Drone and Missile Response to the Zionist Regime

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations of the Supreme National Defense University, this university has issued the following statement in support of the valiant actions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in response to the Zionist regime's attack on  Iran's consulate in Damascus of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, in accordance with international norms and Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, which recognizes the right of countries to self-defense, responded to the Zionist regime's attack on the consulate building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus on April 2, 2024. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of several of our country's advisors who were in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government. In response, Iran provided an appropriate and unprecedented response in the form of a series of military strikes against the military bases of this regime, conducted by the courageous forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with the assistance and coordination of other armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The  Supreme National Defense University commends and expresses gratitude for the courageous actions of the IRGC Aerospace Force in safeguarding our national interests and security. With adherence to the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter and international law, this university underscores its determination to decisively defend our sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests against any unlawful use of force and aggression.
