visit to the Telecommunications Operations Center

Brigadier General Dr. Dr. Esmaeil Ahmadi-Moghaddam, during a visit to the Operations Center of the Iranian Telecommunications Network, stated: Considering the importance of the telecommunications industry and the need for self-regulation in this sector, it is necessary for decision-making institutions to provide greater support to this complex, which, like a nervous system, connects all the technological and communication infrastructures of the country. "According to the Communications and International Relations Center of the National Defense University, He, along with his deputies, managers, and a group of students and elites from the SNDU, visited various sections of the integrated operations center of the Iranian telecommunications network.

During his visit, conducted with the assistance of Mr. Majid Sultan, the CEO of the Iranian Telecommunications Company, and a number of his senior staffs and technical managers, stated: Considering the importance of the telecommunications industry and the need for self-regulation in this sector, decision-making institutions need to provide greater support to this complex, which, like a nervous system, connects all the technological and communication infrastructures of the country. He emphasized the impact of creating and implementing strategic plans for the successful development of various sectors that have direct and indirect connections to the National Defense Complex and important sectors of the country's economy." In addition: National decision-making and moving towards avoiding command pricing in sensitive and transformative sectors such as communications can lead to significant support and increased impact on the development of the country's communications and telecommunications sector, and consequently on the overall economy of the country. The President of the SNDU stated that communication infrastructure plays a driving role in all industries and various economic sectors, adding that in the field of information technology, quality improvement should generally be accompanied by price reduction and the comprehensive implementation of this globally tested process requires comprehensive support from government and governance institutions for this important sector in the field of technology, especially from the Telecommunications Company of Iran as the main operator in the fixed and mobile telecommunications sector in the country. He emphasized that the extraordinary speed and gigabit capacity in the world of communications and the Internet are now considered one of the elements of geopolitical competition at the global and regional levels and components of the soft power of countries.

Therefore, the comprehensive development and progress of our country's communication industries can play a major role in our nation's victory in today's economic and geopolitical competitions, which are based on soft power. Dr. Ahmadi Moghadam stated that in the shadow of information technology development, the hardware sector is now largely moving towards software.

He said that strategic technological knowledge, through the development of communication and telecommunications industry, increases the organizational and fundamental advantages for all sectors in the country and will elevate our country to the forefront of communication technology in sensitive, vital, and infrastructural sectors. The President of the Supreme National Defense University considered paying attention to the enemy's soft power and advancements in technology and information power to be very important. He added that in addition to the hardware power and the significant power of our country, which has been demonstrated by the recent victories and glorious achievements of the armed forces against the occupying enemy and the Zionist regime, it is necessary to bring this soft power in line with international standards in our country's communication and technology sector through necessary synergies in governance sectors and support of the powerful domestic private sector. Thus, they visited the Integrated Operations Center of Iran's Telecommunications Network, as well as the "Neuronta" center of the telecommunications company, which provides secure, non-shared, and dedicated internet services to organizations. They familiarized themselves with various activities of the network monitoring and surveillance center and presented their expert opinions on improving the strategic activities and effectiveness of Iran's telecommunications in society and the necessity of support from higher-level institutions for this infrastructure industry.
