The Deputy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, delivered a speech at a formal ceremony commemoration of Teacher's Day, which is held on Wednesday for the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the esteemed scholar and distinguished teacher, Martyr Ayatollah Morteza Motahhari (May his soul rest in peace),  with the invitation of professors, veterans, students, officials of the university and also the armed forces and was was organized by the Center for Communications and International Relations of the SNDU.

Brigadier General Dr. Nasirzadeh emphasized the profound position of teachers, recognizing God as the first teacher of humanity and the divine prophets as teachers of all humankind. Quoting Ayatollah Motahhari's insightful words that "teacher was called love," he further referred to the Supreme Leader's recognition of teachers as the noble class of society. In alignment with the second step of the Islamic Revolution, he highlighted the significance of human capital in building civilization, a result of the teachers' dedicated efforts. He stressed that this critical task can only be achieved by educators who strive for superior educational quality and continually elevate their own standards to nurture students who will become valuable human capital.

Moreover, Brigadier General Dr. Nasirzadeh highlighted that a teacher's influence on students goes beyond their intentions. Whether consciously or not, teachers profoundly impact their students. The bond between a student and their teacher or professor is often stronger than that between a child and their parents. This is because, in addition to providing education and fostering personal growth, teachers also impart religious and scientific knowledge.

Citing a profound hadith of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) i.e. two groups will break my back, Brigadier General Dr. Nasirzadeh expressed a poignant message. According to the hadith, there are two groups that pose a threat to Imam Ali: the first being an ignorant individual who claims sanctity, and the second being a knowledgeable scholar who does not adhere to his own words. Regrettably, such individuals exist not only within our country but also globally. Dr. Nasirzadeh drew attention to the disparity between the awakening witnessed in universities of countries supporting the Zionist regime, such as the United States, where professors and students actively engage in discussions and express their opinions on significant events like those occurring in Gaza. In contrast, he lamented the lack of response from some professors and students from Arab or Muslim countries. In light of the pervasive threats of cognitive warfare, he emphasized the pivotal role of university professors in shaping the minds of students. He acknowledged the extensive cognitive warfare faced by society and highlighted the responsibility of educators to counter these threats through their guidance and influence over the next generation. By recognizing the significance of their role in this regard, university professors can effectively contribute to the intellectual and ideological resilience of their students.

Brigadier General Nasirzadeh, while highlighting the exceptional capabilities of the Higher National Defense University, expressed the following in an elegant and formal manner: "This esteemed university has recently unveiled a comprehensive and visionary plan, and under the prudent, wise, and compassionate leadership of its president, it is poised for a bright future. The significance of this university has garnered the keen interest of the Supreme Leader. In a recent report presented to the Supreme Leader by the Honorable Chief of General Staff, the outstanding performance of the SNDU was met with satisfaction."

Brigadier General Nasirzadeh, while highlighting the exceptional capabilities of the National Defense University, expressed the following in an elegant and formal manner: "This esteemed university has recently unveiled a comprehensive and visionary plan, and under the prudent, wise, and compassionate leadership of SNDU president, it is poised for a bright future. The significance of this university has garnered the keen interest of the Supreme Leader. In a recent report presented to the Supreme Leader by the Honorable Chief of General Staff, the outstanding performance of the SNDU was met with satisfaction."

Furthermore, Brigadier General Nasirzadeh elaborated on the superiority of the professors at the National Defense University in three distinct aspects, two of which are specific to this institution and one that is applicable across the board. Firstly, the overall status of the teachers and professors at this university is remarkably elevated. Secondly, the teachers of this institution are military personnel who hold the most honorable positions in society. Thus, a military teacher engaged in the noble task of imparting knowledge within a security-oriented environment, while also dedicating themselves to ensuring and preserving the country's security, possesses a unique distinction. Thirdly, the university offers specialized subjects that are not commonly found in other institutions. Referring to these important issues and that the work of the National Defense University is a jihadist work, the deputy of the General Staff emphasized: this university must try to train administrators and commanders of the system and government that stand alone against global arrogance, and therefore efforts must be made in the direction of The destruction of the enemies of the system should be concentrated.

Continuing his address, Brigadier General Nasirzadeh eloquently conveyed the following in a formal and captivating manner: "In a profound observation, he emphasized that neither the events of World War II nor the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union have truly served as the catalyst for a definitive historical paradigm in the global landscape. Drawing upon the words of the Supreme Leader, he declared that a new era has dawned, one that will usher in a transformative shift in the dynamics of the region and the world at large. This paradigm shift signifies the emergence of a new world order, one that casts doubt upon and undermines the security, intelligence, military, political, and economic credibility of the Zionist regime, leaving it in a state of questioning and ignominy."

Brigadier General Nasirzadeh, highlighting the "New World Order"  and the failure of grand assumed concepts like the "supremacy role" of America, and emphasized a significant shift in the global landscape. These ambitious schemes were designed to exploit the financial and national resources of other nations, channeling them towards Western countries. However, their endeavors proved ultimately futile. In light of these realities, he emphasized the imperative for the National Defense University to adopt a forward-thinking approach. It is crucial to navigate this evolving situation with dignity and grace, ensuring that the university remains steadfast and resilient in the face of these challenges. He further added that the university has played a great role by establishing a governance school at the national level and by establishing a new international faculty has had an effect and must provide the necessary predictions to overcome this situation, what kind of situation will we have and in which direction should scientific diplomacy in the university go? In the continuation of his speech, he put forward some basic suggestions as the specialties of the SNDU and stated: Now that a new era has started in the region and the world, this university needs to change itself based on the demands. Pointing out that the universities outside the armed forces have not been able to meet a significant part of the Supreme Leader's expectations, he added: The Supreme Commander has put a lot of hope in this university, so this university must be ahead in all matters and if There is to be a change in the structure of the armed forces, it is the National Defense University that must present transformational plans in the form of special and limited bulletins.

In this regard, he referred to the analytical reports of the university during the Al-Aqsa storm operation and added: These analytical reports showed that this university has very good analytical capacities and depth of knowledge. The Deputy Chief of Staff continued his remarks and pointed to the second application proposal for the Higher National Defense University and stated: The number of dissertations defended in this university is very large and many topics are examined in this university, and considering that the history of some of these The treatises go back to several years ago, it is necessary to repeat and update these topics. The third proposal of the deputy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces for the Supreme  National Defense University was to give more importance to theorizing, he said in this regard: We should give more importance to internal ideas than external ideas and according to the spirit that came from the head of the university We have this work that can be done well. He pointed to the ideas of Ayatollah Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace), which caused transformation and change in the recent era, among which the most important ones were the theory of "Neither East nor West" and "America the Great Satan" which drew a line of invalidity on all the ideas of other Western countries. and created a paradigm in the world that did not exist before. Nasirzadeh continued by mentioning the status of martyrs in the eyes of God and comparing it with the status of teachers, and pointed out the status of teachers who, in addition to having the status of teachers and professors, have also attained the high status of martyrdom and added: Blessed are those who are also teachers. They have been martyrs.

Before him, Brigadier General Dr. Esmail Ahmadi Moghadam, President of the Supreme National Defense University, also pointed to the high character of martyr Motahari and the variety of works left by him and stated: Imam Khomeini (RA) approved all his works without exception. The president of the National Defense University discussed the actions of the university last year and stated: 121 theses were completed and completed in this university during the year 2023. He added: We also have 148 guest faculty members, which is not the number of advisors and referees who cooperate with this university.
