The Supreme National Defense University conveys its most profound and heartfelt condolences on the solemn occasion of the martyrdom of the President and his esteemed accompanying delegation.

According to the report from the Center for Communications and International Relations, the SNDU has issued a statement conveying its condolences on the martyrdom of the steadfast and tireless President and his accompanying delegation in the tragic helicopter crash while fulfilling their duties to the people. The text of this message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

"Among the believers are men true to what they promised God. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [their commitment] by any alteration." (Quran, Surat al-Ahzab, verse 23)

On the blessed anniversary of the birth of the Compassionate Imam, Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Rida, peace be upon him, the news of the martyrdom of the Servant of al-Rida (peace be upon him) and the Master of Martyrs in the field of service, the late Ayatollah Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the respected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his esteemed companions, following the heartbreaking incident of the helicopter crash, has deeply saddened and grieved the hearts of the entire nation of Islamic Iran.

The martyr Ayatollah Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, the people's, revolutionary, and Velayat-oriented President, was a steadfast and tireless struggler and scholar who had always served as a loyal supporter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his glory last) with a sincere intention and a resolute determination in the crucial path of serving the people, especially the deprived strata of society. During his blessed lifetime and his influential roles in the Judicial and Executive branches, he had been the source of immense transformations and valuable, lasting services in the elevation of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Although the Iranian nation has been deprived of the presence of this divine man, the sacred mission of serving the people will continue more steadfastly than before, and nothing but martyrdom could be envisioned as a noble end and a more valuable reward for him from the Lord of the worlds.

The SNDU, with deeply felt sorrow, conveys its condolences to the presence of Imam Mahdi (may our souls be a sacrifice to Him and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Eminence Imam Khamenei (may his noble presence endure), the families of the martyrs of service, and the people of the Islamic Iran, especially the academic community of the country, over the martyrdom of Ayatollah Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the servant of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and the beloved President of Islamic Iran, Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the revolutionary Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Ali Al-Hashemi, the esteemed Friday Prayer Leader of Tabriz and the representative of the Guardian Jurist in the East Azerbaijan Province, and Mr. Malik Rahmati, the devoted Governor of the East Azerbaijan Province, and other companions, while they were in service and fulfilling their duties for the people of Iran.
