Meeting between the President of the Supreme National Defense University and the President of the Shahid Beheshti School of Governance with the Minister of the Interior

Brigadier General Dr. Ismail Ahmadi-Moghaddam, President of the Supreme National Defense University, and Dr. Hassan Bakhtiari, President of the Shahid Beheshti School of Governance, along with several professors from this university, met with the honorable Minister of the Interior.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmadi-Moghaddam extended his congratulations on Dr. Momeni's appointment as Minister of the Interior and proceeded to present an overview of the strategic activities of the Supreme National Defense University in the areas of education and research.

In this meeting, the President of the Supreme National Defense University highlighted the establishment of the Shahid Beheshti School of Governance. He explained that the purpose of founding this institution is to enhance the country’s governance system through conducting educational courses. He also stated that the university is fully prepared to assist the esteemed government, the President, and members of the Administration in their efforts to serve the people and achieve Islamic ideals.

Following this, Dr. Bakhtiari, President of the Shahid Beheshti School of Governance, referred to the school's mission of enhancing the efficiency of the country's governance system. He also provided a report on the performance of the Higher School of Governance in the educational and research fields over the past years, and the steps taken to implement the memorandum of understanding signed with the Ministry of Interior during the 13th Administration to the honorable Minister of Interior.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Momeni, the honorable Minister of the Interior, conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for the effective contributions of the Supreme National Defence University and the Shahid Beheshti Higher School of Governance. Referring to the Supreme Leader’s remarks addressed to the President regarding the preparation of committed, motivated, and revolutionary youth, he stated that one of the most crucial measures for ensuring the increased effectiveness of the country’s governance system is to educate and train leaders. This, he emphasised, will provide the essential groundwork for implementing the overarching policies of the system.

Dr. Momeni considered the education of managers and leaders as essential and expressed his readiness to continue collaborations with the Supreme National Defence University.
