Statement from the Supreme National Defense University on the Martyrdom of the IRGC Brigadier General Dr. Nilforushan

As reported by the Communications and International Relations Center, the Supreme National Defense University released a statement denouncing the aggressions of the usurping Zionist regime against Islamic nations, especially Lebanon, and extended its condolences on the martyrdom of the IRGC Brigadier General Dr. Abbas Nilforushan at the hands of the illegitimate Zionist regime. The statement reads as follows:

Brigadier General Dr. Abbas Nilforushan—an esteemed Holy Shrine Defender, an unwavering warrior, a respected scholar, and a distinguished professor at the Supreme National Defense University—has attained the noble rank of Martyrdom, achieving his long-held aspiration and joining his fallen comrades in arms.

The Supreme National Defense University extends its heartfelt appreciation for his years of steadfast commitment in the field of combat, while also recognizing his significant contributions to academia at the university, where he served as a guiding light in shaping students in alignment with the principles of the Islamic Revolution. The university takes great pride in his distinguished role as an professor and his invaluable collaboration with the institution.

This esteemed commander of Islam has undoubtedly reaped the rewards of his struggles and righteous actions through the grace of martyrdom. He attained this honor while upholding the sacred ideals of the Islamic Revolution and defending the Oppressed and Marginalized around the globe, leaving behind an everlasting name. The enemy and its allies will surely face the consequences of this despicable crime.

We express our deepest condolences on the martyrdom and loss of this distinguished Martyr to the holy presence of Imam Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance), the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei (May His Shadow Endure), the vigilant and grateful nation of Iran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and particularly to the honored family of this Martyr.
