Signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Supreme National Defense University

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations of the Supreme National Defense University, a steering committee of the Supreme School of Governance was formed with the presence of the majority of its members.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Dr. Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam, the President of the National Defense University, expressed gratitude to the esteemed Minister of Interior for his special attention to the School of Governance. He regarded the establishment of this institution, which was initiated under the guidance of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces (may His Glory endure), as a significant step towards the realization of a new Islamic civilization and emphasized the necessity of expanding educational collaborations in the field of governance.

Subsequently, the President of the School of Governance presented a report on the programs and activities of this educational institution and referred to the courses conducted for governors, district governors, and provincial directors during the thirteenth government.

He emphasized the key role of the school in training future governors and enhancing Islamic governance skills. During the continuation of the meeting, attendees expressed their opinions and perspectives regarding the school’s programs.

Dr. Eskandar Momeni, the esteemed Minister of Interior, while thanking those involved in the establishment and administration of this impactful institution, announced the Ministry of Interior's readiness to conduct governance courses for governors, district governors, and local administrators at various levels.

Following this meeting, the Minister of Interior, while visiting the educational classes and research and welfare facilities of the Supreme School of Governance Shahid Beheshti, expressed hope that this institution would play an effective role in achieving the goals outlined in the second phase of the Islamic Revolution. He also stated that the Ministry of Interior would fully cooperate in conducting short-term training courses for provincial governors.

During this meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Interior and the National Defense University by both parties. This memorandum, which aims to strengthen knowledge and governance skills at the national and provincial levels, provides the groundwork for training and enhancing the capabilities of governors, district governors, and provincial managers.
