Visit of International Students to the Armed Forces’ Capabilities on Bumoosi Island
According to the Center for Communications and International Relations of the National Defense University, international students from the Faculty of International Studies visited the capabilities of the Armed Forces on Bumoosi Island during their second day in Hormozgan Province, showcasing the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During this part of the visit, General Safavi, assistant and advisor to the Supreme Commander, emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's seriousness in countering any threats from any actor in the ever-present Persian Gulf region and reiterated the nation's fundamental sovereign rights.
Continuing the visit, the international students met with Brigadier General Tangestani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Navy. He attributed today's security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the achievements of the IRGC Navy to the sacrifices of martyrs and briefly outlined the mission, objectives, and vision of the IRGC Navy in designing, manufacturing, and producing maritime defense equipment across various ranges. He added that Iran is always committed to ensuring the security and protection of the region's strategic waterways and will not leave any foreign interference, aggression, or violation unanswered.
During the visit, international students became acquainted with the capabilities of the Armed Forces, particularly the IRGC Navy, while exploring an exhibition and sailing in the Persian Gulf. Brigadier General Moradian, head of the Faculty of International Studies, also elaborated on the regional situation and the accomplishments of the Armed Forces in ensuring maritime security during the students' visit.
