Meeting Between the Dean of the International Faculty of Iran’s Supreme National Defense University and the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army & the President of Iraq’s National Defense University

According to the Communications and International Relations Center, as part of the academic and research delegation’s visit to the Republic of Iraq, Brigadier General Dr. Mostafa Moradian, the Dean of the International Faculty of the Supreme National Defense University, along with his accompanying delegation, met with General Staff Abdul Amir Yarallah, the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army.

During this meeting, which was also attended by the President of Iraq’s National Defense University, discussions were held on expanding and strengthening scientific diplomacy between the two friendly and Muslim nations. The participants emphasized the necessity of enhancing academic and educational cooperation and explored strategies for achieving the intended objectives and interactions.

Prior to this meeting, General Moradian and his accompanying delegation visited Iraq’s National Defense University, where they met and held discussions with Major General Aqil Mustafa Mahdi, the President of the university.

This meeting, attended by the university’s vice presidents and senior officials, reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening scientific diplomacy between the two nations. Both sides examined various mechanisms and strategies for expanding academic and educational cooperation.
