Monthly Meeting of the Crisis Management Group of the SNDU (Supreme National Defense University) Held with the Presence of the Deputy of the Housing Foundation

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations, the monthly meeting of the Strategic Crisis Management Group was held on Sunday, February 16, 2024, focusing on the establishment and launching of specialized working groups within the group at the Supreme National Defense University.

In this meeting, Engineer Bagheri, the Vice President of the Group, welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the celebrations of the Shaban month and the blessed decade of Fajr. He stated that the Strategic Crisis Management Group was formed under the guidance of the President of the Supreme National Defense University, providing an opportunity for scientific and research support to executive agencies and armed forces to play an effective role in performing their duties and preventing and responding to potential natural disasters in the country.

Continuing the meeting, Mr. Rahmatollah Shishegar, the Secretary of the Group, presented a report on the university's activities in the scientific and research fields. He highlighted the programs implemented by the Strategic Crisis Management Group this year and emphasized the necessity of the presence and active involvement of the armed forces and the Supreme National Defense University, as documented in higher-level documents related to the management of natural disasters.

At the end of the meeting, the appointments of Mr. Joudi, Deputy of the Housing Foundation of the Country, as the Head of the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Working Group, and Ms. Mehrizi, Head of the Red Crescent Applied Science Institute, as the Head of the Fundamental Studies Working Group, were presented by Engineer Bagheri and the Secretary of the Group.
