Four New Scientific Theories Approved

The thirty-ninth meeting of the Assembly for the Support of Theories, Critiques, and Debates was held at the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the Communication and International Relations Center of the Supreme National Defense University, this meeting, presided over by Ayatollah Ali Akbar Rashad, the head of the Assembly, included both individual and organizational members. The session began with a report on the activities of the Assembly, followed by the final approval of four scientific theories/innovations.

Initially, Ayatollah Rashad welcomed the new members and congratulated them on their membership. He highlighted the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan and wished for the acceptance of their prayers and worship. He informed the members about the amendment of the National House of Open Dialogue's charter, its separation from the Assembly for the Support of Theories, Critiques, and Debates, and its new focus on contemporary social, political, and economic issues under the leadership of Dr. Rahim Pour Azghadi. He stated that according to a resolution from the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, all institutions and scientific centers are required to collaborate with the National House of Open Dialogue.

Dr. Khodabakhsh Ahmadi, the Secretary of the Assembly for the Support of Theories, Critiques, and Debates, outlined the activities and performance of the Assembly, which include redefining the concepts of theorizing, innovation, and critique, revising the process of holding scientific chairs, streamlining the organizational structure, and approving the appointments of members for the six scientific chairs. He also mentioned the reform of the regulations for institutional committees and the guidelines for promotional chairs, as well as the classification and categorization of project proposals.

Furthermore, he highlighted essential ongoing initiatives, such as creating a theorizing system, establishing a network of elites in six areas related to scientific chairs, enhancing the quality of activities within institutional committees and scientific chairs, and coordinating with the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) to utilize the Assembly's data for university and scientific institution rankings.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Secretary of the Assembly for the Support of Theories, Critiques, and Debates presented the titles, specifications, and summaries of the theories and innovations that had undergone processes such as initial review and evaluation by the institutional committee, assessment in scientific and specialized chairs, and held preliminary and final conferences. These proposals were ultimately approved after discussions regarding the processes and evaluation system.

The approved theories and innovations included:

  1. Theory of "Geopolitical Air Power" presented by Dr. Aziz Nasirzadeh.
  2. Innovation of "overall Defense and Sustainable Security" presented by Dr. Abbasali Farzandi.
  3. Theory of "Information Superiority and Information Protection (Insightful Eye)" presented by Dr. Mohammad Abbasi and Mohammad Javad Alizadeh.
  4. Theory of "Deliberate Silence of the Law" presented by Hojatoleslam Hassanali Ali Akbarian.
