Scientific Research Trip "Governance in Action" to Bushehr Province

According to the Communication and International Relations Center of the Supreme National Defense University, PhD students in the Governance program at Shahid Beheshti School of Governance, along with faculty members and educational officials from University, embarked on a four-day trip to Bushehr Province.
This program, titled "Governance in Action," aimed to familiarize students with the vital infrastructure of the country, facilitate interactions with local industrial and executive managers, and examine the geopolitical aspects of the province.
Meeting of Science and Practice in Southern Iran
This trip aimed to familiarize students with the industrial capacities and vital infrastructure of the province, strengthen connections between students and executive and industrial officials, and enhance students' hope and sense of responsibility to serve the country. It began with visits to notable centers in the province, including the Sadra and Shahid Mohammadi shipbuilding industries, the Revolutionary Guard Navy Base, the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the Pars Special Economic Zone, the Pars Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, the Lamerd Aluminum Factory, and meetings with senior regional officials.
During this trip, students not only learned about the technical and industrial activities in the province but also engaged in warm discussions with managers and officials, providing them with an opportunity to exchange views on key regional and national issues.
Another valuable aspect of this trip was meeting the family of a revered martyr and visiting the local market and the beautiful beach of Bushehr, creating a lasting experience for the students. The scientific and research outcomes of this program, in addition to its educational and research dimensions, contributed to establishing a collaborative framework between the university and provincial organizations. Identifying new research topics for student theses, feasibility studies for joint research projects, and solutions for developing human resource management were among the achievements of this scientific trip.
This journey, which served as a convergence of science and practice, was met with widespread enthusiasm from students, university officials, and local managers, signaling the opening of new avenues for collaboration between academia, industry, and government for comprehensive progress.
