Congratulations on the 29th of Farvardin, the Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations at the National Defense University, Major General Dr. Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam, the esteemed President of the National Defense University, issued the following message on the occasion of the 29th of Farvardin, the Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, congratulating all military colleagues at the university:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“And prepare Against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war (make ready your strength to utmost of your power) by which you may terrify (the heart of) the enemies, Of Allah and your enemies.”

The 29th of Farvardin serves as a reminder of the wisdom and insight of the late Imam Khomeini in establishing and strengthening the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army against the adversaries of our homeland. This day was designated by the Imam as the "Day of the Army." Over time, as the country has navigated the challenges of the sacred defense and maintained the territorial integrity and independence of our homeland, the effects of this wisdom have become evident. The sacrifices and dedication of the combatants and commanders of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army have brought pride and strength to our beloved country and the grateful people of Islamic Iran.

The Supreme National Defense University extends its congratulations and best wishes to all commanders and brave, faithful warriors of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army on the occasion of Army Day. We consider strengthening this great organization to be our duty and, God willing, under the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among all branches of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and through collaborative efforts, we will witness an enhancement of the dignity, power, and security of our country against enemies and adversaries of the nation, under the visionary leadership of our esteemed Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Khamenei (may his blessings be upon him).
