Visit of Delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran Supreme National Defense University to the Head of the Omani Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Center of the Supreme National Defense University, on the morning of April 27, a delegation from the National Defense University, led by Brigadier General Dr. Meysam Farzin, Deputy for Planning and Programs, and accompanied by Colonel Dr. Davood Ramazani, Head of the Public Relations and International Affairs Center, was received by General Hamid bin Ahmed Sakeroun in Oman. The visit aimed to plan and implement a scientific and educational memorandum of understanding between the two universities.

Major General Hamad bin Ahmed bin Saeed Sukrun, President of Omani Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, welcomed the delegation from the SNDU of the Islamic Republic of Iran at his office in the Bait Al-Falaj area of Muscat. Extending a warm greeting to the visiting Iranian delegation, he engaged in friendly discussions and explored several areas of mutual interest, particularly in academic fields, with the members of the Iranian delegation.

The ceremony was also attended by Commodore Khalid Amer Al Salti, Director of Studies and Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, as well as the Military Attaché of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Muscat.

The delegation will continue its meetings to review and finalize the implementation schedule of the scientific and educational memorandum of understanding, which will serve as the basis for future cooperation between the two parties.
