Political Meeting on 12-Day Sacred Defense and Regional Developments

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations at the Supreme National Defense University, a political meeting for university staff was held on Tuesday, September 4, 1404. Organized by the Ideological and Political Office, the session focused on the 12-day Sacred Defense and regional developments. In this meeting, Dr. Ayoub Pourghiumi, a faculty member at Imam Hussein University, delivered a speech addressing the developments in Lebanon, the disarmament of Hezbollah, as well as the changes in Iraq, Syria, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. He examined the threats and challenges surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During his remarks, he referenced the late General Qassem Soleimani, quoting his famous saying, "Opportunities arise from the heart of threats." He emphasized the importance of Iran being able to create opportunities from these threats.

In another part of his speech, Dr. Pourghiumi noted that for countries and nations pursuing the path of resistance, the journey is complex. He indicated that the most complicated developments are currently occurring in West Asia. He also pointed out the resilience in Iraq, stating that this resistance will manifest itself as a significant force in the future.
