Commander of the Supreme National Defense University: "The Zionist Regime's Study Center's Assessment a Few Days Before the Riots / The Three Factors the Zionists Were Pursuing"

According to the Communications and International Relations Center of the Supreme National Defense University:

Brigadier General Dr. Ismail Ahmadi-Moghaddam, Commander of the Supreme National Defense University, stated on the sidelines of the National Conference of Managers of the Foundation for the Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense and Resistance Works and Values, a couple of days before the riots, the Zionist Regime's Study Center had conducted an assessment on whether these riots would succeed or not. He stated: "They concluded that for these riots to succeed, three factors were necessary."

The Commander of the Supreme National Defense University, pointing to the enemy's efforts to create division between the people and the officials of the system, said: "The enemy's first objective is to create a rift within the governing establishment. They pursue this matter seriously; as we observe, the governing establishment is unified, there are no disagreements, and all officials are united in seeking to solve the people's problems."

He added: "The second important matter regarding the enemy's success or failure is the level of loyalty of the security forces—whether they would be present on the scene or stand on the sidelines. Assessments show that the forces demonstrated both loyalty and sacrifice. In fact, the security forces offered many martyrs and wounded and did not retreat."

The President of the Supreme National Defense University emphasized: "Furthermore, the great nation of Iran did not side with the rioters, and their presence in the tens of millions on January 12 showed that the people are not with the rioters. In fact, wherever the intensity of the riots was greater, the presence of the people was more prominent."

He also, referring to the dimensions of the enemy's conspiracies during the 12-Day War, said: "In the 12-Day War as well, the enemy, with a miscalculation, thought that the people would be with their military attack against the system, which was an incorrect assessment by the enemies."

The Commander of the National Defense University added: "The leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and the presence of the people and the armed forces neutralized the enemy's conspiracy, and in this regard, we must thank all the people, the armed forces, and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief."
