THE SECOND MEDICAL EXCELLENCE EVENT WAS HELD BY THE ELITE AND TALENT CENTER OF THE ARMED FORCES, IN COLLABORATION AND PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations of the Supreme National Defense University, the second medical excellence event was held by the Elite and Talent Center of the Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The event took place at the University of Health Sciences and Rehabilitation and was attended by the Ministry’s Deputy, Dr. Shahin Akhoundzadeh, as well as the country’s young medical elites.

 At the beginning of the session, Dr. Mousa al-Reza Qaemi, Director of the Elite and Talent Center of the Armed Forces, expressed his gratitude to the attending officials and national elites for participating in the event. He also noted that, in addition to those present in person, 300 university elites and professors were participating online.

He added “Our goal in the Armed Forces Elite Foundation is to ensure that our young elites do not deviate from their research activities during their military service; moreover, the scientific capacities of these talented individuals should be utilized for the advancement of the country”.

He further stated, referring to the statistics of medical conscript elites, that in the 1403–1404 academic year, 958 students in medical, paramedical, and basic sciences programs were admitted to the Armed Forces Elite Center. Of these, 424 students were allocated to civilian medical universities, while the remainder were assigned to the medical universities of the Armed Forces.
