Having a divine spirit, courage and seeking martyrdom of the staff of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Navy fleet to travel around the world

According to the International Relations and Communication Center of the Supreme National Defense University, Second Flotilla Admiral Shahram Irani, the Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, attended the Jihad of Explanation meeting held in Abshnasan Hall of this university. He pointed out that the Supreme Leader in his wise statements sated that the Navy of the I.R. of Iran should be viewed as a strategic force.

Then, the commander of the Navy said that the mission to travel around the world was decided in 2022 and this important mission was successfully completed in 2023 and this Jihadi movement was a mission in line with the measures of the Supreme Leader and also a Scientific work was in the dignity of Iranian people. We were able to have a powerful presence in the rough seas and oceans on the Dana Destroyer, which was the latest achievement of our defense industry. Of course, we faced some problems on this route, the most important of which was the lack of such experience in the past in the country. Many people tried to dissuade us from carrying out this mission at the beginning, but we thought more and thank God, thanks to the divine spirit, bravery and martyrdom of the employees of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we were able to bring this honor to the country. And I must add that "sustainability" and "durability" were two important principles for us and we had prepared ourselves to stay in the sea for a year without needing any shore.

Referring to the fact that foreign countries were always trying to prevent Iran's presence in the high seas, the commander of the army navy said that we do not just bypass the sanctions. Wherever necessary, we are present and get behind the enemy.

By emphasizing that the enemies did not want this mission to be completed successfully as well as employing their spy services to prevent the accomplishment of this mission, Second Flotilla Admiral Shahram Irani said, "To accomplish this mission, we chose an unusual path that has never been thought of by our enemies, and crossing this difficult path was possible only with the scientific research of our elite youth and all-Iranian made equipment.”
