The Supreme National Defense University’s Statement Regarding Iran's Government week

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations of the Supreme National Defense University, this university has issued the following statement on the occasion of Government Week:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

"Government Week is, in fact, the connecting link between one chapter of the government's lifetime and another." His Eminence Imam Khamenei (may his sublime presence be prolonged)

The 8th of Shahrivar (August 30th) of every year, which is commemorated in the name of Government Week in Iran, is in fact a page from the golden records of the history of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, as it is dedicated to the memory of the esteemed and beloved martyrs of the government, Mr. Rajai and Mr. Bahonar, who enriched the tree of the Islamic Revolution through their selfless service and the sacrifice of their lives.

The spirit of anti-imperialism and the experience of standing firm against the bullying and all-encompassing pressures of the Great Satan and its allies, namely the United States, have transformed the Islamic Republic of Iran into a resilient country and a united, cohesive nation with an unwavering determination. Those who, with the divine power and the support of the people, are able to overcome all the problems and hostilities of the Iran-haters and conquer the lofty peaks of glory.

The 14th government, relying on the guidance of the Supreme Leader and the support of the people, has taken the first steps with national unity, in cooperation with the respected parliament, in a stable and firm manner. This is indicative of a bright future and comprehensive progress for the country in various fields. The government, with the backing of the Supreme Leader's directives and the people's support, has been able to achieve national unity and make a solid start, which promises a bright future and all-around progress for the country across different spheres. The close cooperation between the government and the parliament has played a key role in this initial progress.

The National Defense University, while commemorating the Government Week, has offered its congratulations on this occasion to the Honorable President, Dr. Pezeshkian, and all the members of his government, and hopes that we will be in the shadow of the directives of the Commander of Supreme Commander-in-Chief, witness the flourishing, progress and prosperity of Islamic Iran in all national and international arenas, with ever greater unity and harmony between the government and the people.

Once again, we honor the memory of the high-ranking government martyrs, Martyrs Dr. Rajai and Bahonar, and we hope that we will be worthy followers of these dear ones in the path ahead. Inshallah.
