The First Scientific Session: An Introduction to the Formation of Collective Identity in the Leadership of Interorganizational Networks

According to the Center for Communications and International Relations, with the aim of promoting discourse, enhancing competencies, broadening knowledge, and exchanging experiences among the Deputy Offices and organizations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the first scientific session titled “An Introduction to the Formation of Collective Identity in the Leadership of Interorganizational Networks” was held on Tuesday, October 19, 2025. The session was attended by senior managers of the Deputy Offices of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as managers and experts from the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, and the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition, directors and researchers from the Strategic Management Research Institute, along with other faculties and research centers of SNDU, participated in the event, which took place in the Shahid Bagheri Conference Hall at the Supreme National Defense University.

At the beginning of the session, the respected reciter opened the event with verses from the Holy Qur’an. Following this, Dr. Mohammad Ebrahim Sanjaghi presented general discussions aimed at explaining ways to enhance relationships based on collective identity among members of organizational networks, in order to create the groundwork for facilitating knowledge sharing and strategic decision-making processes across organizations.
